My son burnt with the hair iron sunday evening ive take him to the doctor, the doctor cleaned wound and wrapped it. he had blisters and the wound is now open and yellow. he has been keeping me up at night with a fever.please help?

Burn with fever: First of all, does your son really have a fever or just feels warm? What is his actual temperature? Secondly, he is probably hurting from the burn, ergo he has a reason to keep you up at night for that reason. If he's been agitated and crying all night, that will raise his temperature some, but shouldn't be a lot. Doubt infection, but dropping by to see your doctor wouldn't hurt.
