Cough and talk. : Three things come to mind in this scenario. This could represent allergic rhinitis with postnasal drip. This could also represent reflux disease, or an extension of such called laryngopharyngeal reflux. Or, this could be something called cough variant asthma where asthma presents itself as a cough. An evaluation would be helpful.

Agree w input you: have already received. Sometimes a cough can also be a tic in addition to possibilities of asthma, PND, etc. A medical assessment may help to flush out the cause.
