A member asked:

Is it normal to feel lymph nodes on your bikini line? feel on both sides, but not visually swollen or sore. i am 5'4, 110 lb female

Depends: If you had any lesions on the legs/feet, that could have resulted in fibrosed nodes that are palpable though not enlarged. In places where kids roam barefooted, it is a common finding. You may watch and wait. If the nodes get larger, become painful, nodes in other areas of the body become palpable, you get fever or lose weight, see a doctor. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
