It is really surprising how often variations in reproductive hormones, such as those contained in oral contraceptives, can have an effect on the skin...and it can take some time for the hormonal milieu to calm down. Use OTC topical cortisone cream, and a non-irratating skin lubricant. If the irritation fails to improve with time and care, see a Dermatologist
