Hives: Raised itchy bumps could be hives, which are due to a whole host of causes. Anthistamine medication could reduce the bumps and itch if truly hives. However, a photo of your rash is very important. Either consult a physician on this site with a photo or in person, or see a doctor in person to diagnose if the rash does not improve.
