Talk w/ cardiologist: You should consult with the physician who diagnosed this condition and ultimately meet with a cardiologist (heart doctor). The heart doctor should be able to run some additional testing (ECHO) to determine how severe the prolapse is and if you have any other problems. Most patients with MVP do just fine with strenuous activity, but you should check first.
