Variable symptoms: Symptomatic patients with prolonged QT syndrome can present with a variety of symptoms. Some are completely asymptomatic and are only aware of their diagnosis because a close relative was found to have one and they got evaluated as well. Some symptoms can include: palpitations, presyncope, syncope, seizures, or cardiac arrest in severe instances.
