Swollen sensation on the right side of my abdomen. when i stretch it is painful there. should i go to the doctor ?

Yes: It is difficult without examination to know what this is. Does sound like it might be a hernia, particularly if you have had surgery there although could also be some other internal mass/or some condition. At the very minimum this would need an abdominal examination and may need tests to sort it out. Recommend seeing your doctor urgently to sort this out.
