Stay hydrated: The most important thing is to stay hydrated as the symptoms run their course. Pure water or sports drinks (for the electrolytes) are good options. Just be careful of sugar content when consuming sports drinks. Also avoid red drinks as they could be confused with blood in stool. Food poisoning.: The obvious answer would be that your symptoms are related to food poisoning. Bad bacteria grew within the yogurt, causing what should be a transient infection. Let it ride for now. Drink fluids often. If you remain symptomatic past five days, go see your doctor.
