My son 6 months, refuse to eat/drink. he does take some food, not as much as he usually does. no fever, flu or any other symptoms. is this normal?

Appetite can vary: from meal to meal with infants this age, but usually there is some cause if appetite is reduced for more than 1-2 days. Check mouth for swollen gums from teething or a coated tongue could be thrush. Many viruses start with a sore throat and then lead to nasal congestion or cough in 24 hours. Stomach flu can cause nausea but diarrhea may be delayed. Get evaluation of more than 2-3 days.
