A member asked:

My gyn referred me to a urogynecologist specializing in pelvic disorders for ongoing noncyclic pelvic pain. what can i expect at the first appointment?

Medical visit. : I’d presume you’d undergo an interview for discovery of symptoms along with any needed background info (medical history, surgical history, medications you take, etc). Then a physical exam, which I presume would include a gynecological examination. Then, discussion as to possible causes and plan of care going forward.
