My daughter woke up at 1100 at night with a hoarse cough. then again at 430 throwing up every hour ago.. no fever... i'm assuming viral..

Good assumption: Most of these are viral and can be managed at home. If she can take in enough fluids to pee every 6-8 hours and cooperate with your comfort measures, just watch her. If she pees less or spooks you have her seen.
