Can i donate my eggs if i have lupus erythematosus?

Dr. John Chiu answered

Probably not: Since your genes may well render the baby at a higher risk of developing an autoimmune disease, I'd prefer that you don't. However it would be a different matter if you decide to have a child of your own due to your own needs but your eggs would not be ideal as donor eggs. I am not a genetic counsellor but why take the risk?
