SLE: Is a systemic disease and is a form of vascullitis, which means that there is inflammation in the blood vessels as a result it is a multi-system disease and can affect any organ in the body. When the brain is affected it can lead to changes in mood, psychosis and even coma. Leukopenia is a recognized feature of SLE at some point in the course of the disease. It can affect the kidneys, joints etc
