A member asked:

I get mild to severe pain in wrists and hands, sometimes muscle weakness as well. tested negative for lupus & rheumatoid artiritis. any suggestions?

Could still be: While lab testing is great at predicting disease, it isn't always confirmatory. There is something called Seronegative (meaning labs are negative) RA and Lupus. Generally only a rheumatologist can make this call but often you family physician can start therapy in the mean time to your evaluation. Ibuprofen is usually where more start for pain control.
