If new, it's time...: If one is having new, significant, continuing visual changes (meaning this is a new situation for him), then it is time for an emergency examination by an eye doctor. His own ophthalmologist can do this, if that doctor is available now. Otherwise, he can go to the Emergency Room. These situations are emergencies because certain disorders need rapid treatment, to try to prevent losing one's vision.
