Further workup: I would recommend further work up through a gastroenterologist if not done already. Fatty liver is common but typically does not cause pain. Other stomach or bowel diseases or conditions need to be ruled out and requires further tests such as endoscopy or CT scan. Gallbladder issues come to mind first. Good luck
