Absolutely OK to do: Remember to repeat the dose in 2 weeks. This is critical because the medication does not kill pinworm eggs. Only live / hatched pinworms. Repeating the dose in two weeks will therefore kill any newly-hatched worms. IN ADDITION: you must vacuum and wash all linens , and vacuum carpets. Cleaning the environment is critical to eliminating the eggs. Best wishes.
