Dental problem: Pain, antibiotics and steroid treatment indicate a serious problem. You don't really say what is going on. But as a diabetic you know that infections are a serious problem to your health. This needs treatment now not two weeks from now. Do not delay.

Why not?: You didn't explain why you couldn't get to a dentist for 2 weeks. That's especially of concern because of the medications you are taking along with the fact that you are a diabetic. Something is wrong with this picture. If it's because you can't get to a dentist that's a big mistake. If because of the dentist, find another one! Call your local dental society for help.

Why not: Your medical history and the medications you are taking indicate a serious problem. You require immediate treatment, not treatment in 2 weeks. If your Dentist cannot see you, find one with better availability. If the decision to delay is yours, change your plans. Please do not delay, get help now.
