Hi, i just had a laprotomy done to remove a cancerous tumor in my rectum. i had a drainage attached and 5 weeks there is still discharge and pus. my antibiotics are done but i feel the discharge has gotten worse?

Follow up: Make sure you follow up with your surgeon. Lapartomy for a rectal tumor makes me concerned that it has gone beyond just the rectal area. Your surgeon would know and will be able to guide you on the proper approach going forward.
