A member asked:

I have an obsessional fear of fainting, even though i have never fainted. the doctor says that is what is causing my constant lightheadedness. is it possible that my obsessional fear is making me feel this way?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

That can happen: High anxiety can lead to lightheadedness and fainting. So, as long as one's doctor feels the cause of one's symptoms are not another serious disorder other than high anxiety, then one can get treatment for his high anxiety to decrease his problems of lightheadedness and fainting.
