Chest tightness: If you are vomiting and not coughing up the material, chest tightness may be muscular or may be from esophageal inflammation. Coughing up the material would point to infection/inflammation of the trachea or bronchial tubes. If you're vomiting, follow a bland diet, avoid caffeine and take a medication like prilosec or nexium. See your physician if no improvement.
