Probably not: The slimy stuff is probably cervical mucus. You could have several reasons for not having much. One big reason is not ovulating so check for that. The fibroids probably did not affect ovulation or mucus. See a specialist to do an exam and help check your cycles. Best wishes.

No: The cervical mucus that you describe is related to pre-ovulation. Myomectomy which is taking out fibroid tumors should not affect ovulation.
