Psychotropic meds: I would not wean off any of your medications without discussing with your prescribing provider first. Although most providers often just discontinue at a dose of 150 mg, some will have you wean to 100mg and then stop.

Talk with your doc: Embarking on medication changes and weanlings is something that is both a good idea and dangerous at the same time. Always talk with your prescribing Doctor and discuss your reasons and rationale and work out a mutually agreed to plan for weaning medications that you have been prescribed. Good results and outcomes depend on transparency and communication on the parts of patients and their Doctors

Check with doctor: You may want to talk to your doctor, you may be able to stop it and not wean off it as well. The only way you can really wean off a once a day medication is to take it less than once a day, like one every two or three days for awhile and slowly less and less and then dc, perhaps after once a week. Again, you mighty not need to do this. Check with your doctor.
