Maybe: Hiccups can be caused by irritation of the diaphragm. If he has jaundice and light color stool, he may have a gallbladder or liver condition that could certainly irritate the diaphragm and cause hiccups. I recommend that he be evaluated for those conditions by his doctor.

43 yr male. pancreatic cancer worry. Multicolor stools lt brwn/dk brwn/chalk. if bilirubin not getting to stool causes pale stools, doesnt bilirubin build up in body? why no jaundice? dark urine? Bilirubin lvls normal. Other reason for pale stool?
