Hi i had a fascia lata taken for a graft 2wks ago and the scar has healed but there is about 1cm of thread stikin out of my leg.why hasn't this disolv?

Threads/stiches: Hi Some threads, or sutures, are not designed to dissolve. And if they do, it needs to be within your body to dissolve. Whatever you do, don't pull on it. It's probably just the loose end of the thread from whatever suture technique your doctor used - nothing to worry about. You'll need to call your doctor's office to see what they recommend to do with it. Hope this helps.
