Sharp pain is in my proximal phalanges and i can't write without medium/extreme pain. slight swelling and no brusing. broken finger perhaps?

Could be!!: Fx finger could be your DX if there is history of an injury to it. Other causes to consider would be tendonitis, sprain of ligaments. Or rarer causes might be a rhumatoid arthritis or other type of arthritises. But common things are common, so i would think of the first 3 possibilities. See your doctor to get treated for the correct diagnosis.
