Arrange for a visit: I wonder if you have a sore that is slowly bleeding and causing you to taste the blood. This could be coming from the nasopharynx, the throat or even lower. I would suggest ensuring that this is checked along with a blood count and iron studies. Please arrange a physician visit to confirm. It could be range from minor to more significant.

MD and DDS: See both a local physician and dentist for examinations and evaluations to determine cause and recommend treatment as appropriate. May be both medical and dental causes. Find out for sure.

Taste/fatigue: May be signs of diabetes, infected teeth/gums, side effect of medications, and lots of other reasons. You should see both your Dentist and an ENT or Internist to discover "what's wrong."

Possible ANUG: Good day; Classic metallic taste and a run down-stressed condition are symptomatic of Trench Mouth- Acute Necrotizing Ulcerative Gingivitis. Even if this not the precise diagnosis there is a need for an immediate dental visit.
