More details: Since only the left cheek is affected (or is the whole face involved?), I suspect that this may be from a sensitivity to sunlight. Have you recently introduced a new facial cosmetic which may lead to a photosensitive skin reaction after sun exposure? If both cheeks are involved, one needs to consider rosacea. You may well need to consult a dermatologist.
