Appendicitis: Frequent loose stools are not a classic symptom in acute appendicitis. Irritable bowel syndrome, certain food intolerances(lactose,gluten), recent viral intestinal tract infection or food poisoning are more likely possibilities. However persistent right lower abdominal discomfort,especially with associated tenderness, warrants an examination by a physician for diagnosis.
