Depends: Hi Avanza can cause drowsiness but it depends on the dose and the individual. It is common but in some people, the drowsiness goes away over time. There is no harm in stopping the medication if you feel your anxiety is adequately treated but you need to discuss the taper off schedule with your doctor. It needs to be stopped over a period of time rather than abruptly.
