Infected area: Send photo to be sure it is not getting worse and need antibiotics. For now keep area clean with warm compresses and clean with beta done. Consult with us to help solve this issue.

Sounds like: a cellulitis (infection) which WAS "contained" in that "zit" and is now released and "spreading" into surrounding tissue. Get this checked out ASAP and in the meantime apply MOIST HEAT packs to the area.... Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
