Dorsal: heel spurs are usually located as a part of the major tendon (achilles) connection to the heel bone (calcaneus) and will eventually become symptomatic. A PODIATRIST's opinion early on is suggested!! (Foot specialist) There are non surgical (orthotics) and surgical treatments available! Hope this is helpful Dr Z
