Hi i got cystitis. i took one tablet of nitrofurantoin 50 mg so far but i am in pain. can i take ibuprofen 600mg as well?

You can but..: You can take the Ibuprofen but there are concerns about why there is so much pain. Have you contacted the MD who diagnosed and prescribed the Nitrofurantoin yet? That is important as bladder infections can ascend to the kidney causing a more severe kidney infection which may require more intensive treatment.
