Possibly: If the redness is spreading or the pain is getting worse you should get checked by a doctor- you may need an antibiotic. It is isn't painful, growing or hot just give it some time but bug bites heal on their own just fine.

Possible: Especially if you have been scratching the area. Best to see a doctor for exam and treatment. Try to use good antibacterial soap and do not touch the area
