Unlikely: sexual transmission of hepatitis c is uncommon, though never say never. An initial manifestation may result in liver inflammation but you would be jaundiced. That inflammation will resolve after a time and then go into a latent stage; at any time from the initial manifestation onward it can be detected and treated. Get liver function tests and hep c antibody, if normal/negative then no worries

Not a drinker. My UltraSnd says Mild enlarged & fatty liver. I'v High biliru- 2.1(Dir-0.5,InD-1.6).SGPT/SGOT- just high. ALP - OK ,Proteins - OK.Lipid Profile - OK. PanC - OK. ESR -8, CBC- Normal, Blood Sug - Ok, Kidney -OK.No Hep B/C. Is it Serious?
Elevated amylase (250) and liver enzymes (ALT, AST). Normal abdominal ultrasound & CBC. WHat could cause this if ultrasound is normal?
