Albumin pep 3.7, alpha-1-globulins: 0.3 (0.1-0.4), alpha-2: 0.9 (0.6-1.2), beta: 1.6 (0.7-1.3 ), gamma 1.2 (0.6-1.7). is it ok that my beta is high?

Need more info: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, serum protein electrophoresis result gives more information by visual inspection and some times a follow-up test may be done depending on the pattern. Okay or not depends on what component of beta is high. Visit this site: http://www.aafp.org/afp/2005/0101/p105.html
