Conjunctivitis : Your doctor probably prescribed some drops. Why would you not use them ?

Eye wash?: The viral infection will run its course . Saline eye drops or eyewash may provide some soothing effect but will not change the course. Don't try any of the stuff in your eyes or they will get even more irritated .
