What are the signs and symptoms of amebiasis? what test should i take?

Intestinal: The initial symptoms are often intestinal (abd cramps, diarrhea etc) . Amoeba infection is more likely if you have recently traveled to a developing country or have consume untreated water from a stream. Usually getting stool samples to examine for ova and parasite would be the first step.
