Can amebiasis go away on its own without treatment? if so, how long will this take?

Maybe, maybe not. It would be dangerous to try; amebiasis has some rather serious possible complications if not treated.

Your post is confusing. Do you or someone you know have a confirmed diagnosis of an amoebic infection? If so, this would NOT resolve in the absence of appropriate therapy. If the organism has invaded the brain, the mortality rate is quite high, in spite of treatment.
