Allergies?: If these symptoms have been present for just a few days, they may just be from a cold for which you may try a decongestant nasal spray for up to 5 days. If you have had these symptoms for more than a couple of weeks, one will have to consider allergies for which a nasal steroid would work better. Uncertain about the throat tightness issue but need to rush to ER if you have breathing problem .
