Exam needed: A physician or dermatologist would have to examine the rash in order to diagnose it and treat you. In the meantime apply a cortisone type ointment to see if it clears.

?: Any itchy skin rash can be caused by many things but I suspect that a single itchy lesion on the calf is more likely from a bug bite. Try topical hydrocortisone on it to see if it helps. If not getting better after a week , see doctor.

Needs to be seen...: A rash would need to be seen by a physician for an opinion about possible cause. You could request a consult on HealthTap and show the physician via video or send a pic via text. Or, go to your family doc for evaluation and treatment. Good luck!!
