Maybe: The ear lobe may heal up slowly. The little balls inside the ear may not be related to the lobe piercing. It is difficult to say without seeing a photo. Some people cannot tolerate body piercings due to a reaction( Keloids ) causing excess scar tissue forming at the site. If this is occurring than ear piercing may not be quite as easily done.
