Blistering: Blistering after a mosquito bite is unusual. Secondary bacterial skin infections can occur and are manifested by spreading redness. Blistering can occur with allergic reaction to certain ointments or a herpes skin infection. Your physician or dermatologist can evaluate the skin lesions for you.
