A member asked:

I briefly looked at a partial solar eclipse for a couple of seconds in sb, i was wondering if any permanent damage was done to my eye? i am 19.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Eclipse viewing. : If you stared at the eclipse without appropriately certified protective eyewear, then eye damage is possible, although the actual incidence of such societally is apparently very low. If you really want to know for sure, visit with an Ophthalmologist for a dilated eye examination.
