Broken toe: Depending on the severity of the break, treatment ranges from splinting to surgical intervention. Most of the time, minor toe fractures can be splinted to the adjacent toe and the patient is placed in an appropriate boot or shoe.

Depends: On if fracture is in alignment or not and exactly where fracture is. If out of alignment, must be realigned. A simple well aligned break can be splinted
