Shorter cycles?: Zinc is not known to influence the menstrual cycle. It is common after some time with longer cycles for a higher level of hormone to be released from the brain, and more regular cycles at a shorter time of onset can be established. Ovulation requires in some women a higher level of hormone to mature an egg prior to release.
