How great is the risk for nerve pain/damage with major abdominal surgery ?

Nerve damage: Nerve damage risk depends on location of surgery, preop risks (i.e. Previous surgery, weight of patient, h/o diabetes?) and surgical skill. Where is the surgery planned and with whom? Consult with us if need further help.
