When applying vaseline to nostril (for dryness/nosebleeds), should i use a q-tip & go as high up (deep) as possible? my bleeds tend to come from deep

Not deep: The usual bleeding area is just inside the opening of the nose and you should apply only a small amount of the emollient to avoid it getting aspirated into your lungs.
