Is it safe to give gripe water to my baby?

Unsure ingredients: Doctors usually don't give babies any medications, even over-the-counter items, unless there's good benefit. A mom can bring the item to the doctor to check the ingredients, but a little bit of a trusted brand of "gripe water" drops is ok to try. It may or may not help any colicky symptoms. If it doesn't seem to help, then it shouldn't be used. I don't recommend "gripe water" for my patients.

Yes: The contents are harmless.I have never found it helpful but it's something many people try.
